The Science

How Dissolve Closes Your Enzyme Gap

Digestive enzymes are the "scissors" your body uses to break down food. Dissolve gives your body 18 of them.*

The Enzyme Gap, Explained

1. Each Food Needs Its Own Enzyme

Enzymes cut food into pieces small enough for your body to use. But, each food requires its own scissors. Protease cuts protein. Lipase cuts fat. Amylase cuts starch. Lactase cuts the sugar in milk. A meal needs all of them at once.

2. Your Body Doesn't Make Some Enzymes

Humans make almost none of the enzyme that breaks down the sugars in beans, lentils and some vegetables. [1] We also make no enzyme for cellulose, the fiber in plant cell walls.

3. Other Enzymes Fade As You Age

Babies are born making lactase, the enzyme for milk sugar. For many adults it fades after childhood. [3] [4] And studies suggest the pancreas, which makes many of the body's other digestive enzymes, releases less of them as we get older. [5]

That creates the Enzyme Gap. Making it harder and harder for your body to break down food.

4. When Food Doesn't Break Down, It Can Ferment

Some carbohydrates are hard for the small intestine to absorb. When they reach the large intestine, bacteria there ferment them. That makes gas and draws in water, which is a common reason a belly feels bloated after a meal. [2]

Dissolve closes the gap with 18 digestive enzymes, including the ones your body never makes, to help break down food more fully.*

What's In Each Capsule

One capsule holds 280 mg of the DigeSEB® Super Blend: 18 digestive enzymes. Here's each one and the job it does.

Everything else in the capsule: a vegetarian capsule (cellulose) and maltodextrin.

Left out: stearates, and all 9 major food allergens: wheat, egg, milk, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish and sesame.

Made & lab tested in the USA.

Serving: 1 capsule. 90 per bottle, a 30-day supply at three meals a day.

Lab Study Results: 60% Improvement In The First Hour

In a published lab study, scientists ran a meal of rice, protein, sugar and fat through a model that simulates human digestion, once with the enzyme blend inside Dissolve and once without. [6] With the blend:

  • the food broke down faster in the stomach phase: it thinned by 82% in the first hour, compared with 51% without the blend, about 60% more;
  • more sugar was released from the carbohydrates; and
  • more amino acids were released from the protein early on.

This was a lab model, not a study in people, and the scientists work for a company affiliated with the blend's maker. It shows what the blend does to food. It does not show how anyone will feel.

Getting More From Healthy Food

Plant cell walls are built from cellulose, and humans do not make the enzymes to break it down. Many beans and seeds also carry phytic acid, which can bind minerals such as calcium, iron and zinc.

HemiSEB®, part of the blend in Dissolve, is a set of plant-fiber enzymes that works on tough plant fibers and helps release nutrients held inside plant cell walls.*

A Simple Routine

One Small Capsule. It's small and has no taste.

With Your First Bite. Take it with the first bite of each meal. The enzymes will get to work right away.

Then Eat As Normal. No elimination diet. No food journal. No "gut protocol." Keep the bottle next to the salt shaker, not in the medicine cabinet. At 3 meals a day, each bottle is a 30-day supply.

Questions We Hear

Is Dissolve a probiotic?

No. Probiotics are live bacteria. Dissolve is enzymes, the scissors that cut food down. They do different jobs, and you can take both.

Where do the enzymes come from?

Papain from papaya, bromelain from pineapple, and the rest grown by fermentation in fermenters three stories tall.

Does it help with IBS, SIBO or celiac disease?

Dissolve is a dietary supplement. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it is not a replacement for a gluten-free diet. If you have a diagnosed condition, talk to your doctor before trying it.

Can I take it if I am pregnant, nursing or on medication?

Check with your doctor first.

Try It On Your Own Meals

30 days. Money back if you're not happy.
