How It Works

Digestive enzymes work like scissors. They cut food into pieces small enough for your body to use. But each enzyme cuts only one kind of food, so every meal needs many different enzymes.

Imagine a burrito:

  • Rice and tortillaamylase cuts the starch.
  • Meatprotease cuts the protein.
  • Cheese and saucelipase cuts the fat, and lactase cuts the milk sugar.
  • Beansalpha-galactosidase cuts the bean sugars.
  • Veggiescellulase and hemicellulase cut the tough plant fiber.

That is six different jobs in one burrito.

A burrito cut in half on a board, with its rice, chicken, beans, cheese and sour cream labelled with the enzyme that breaks each one down

The Problem: As You Age, Your Body Makes Fewer & Fewer Enzymes

This creates the Enzyme Gap.

And when your body doesn't have the enzymes, it can't break down the food. Instead, the food just… sits there. And ferments.

Which creates the gas, bloat & indigestion.*

And inhibits nutrient absorption.*

Dissolve Closes That Enzyme Gap

It puts a broad mix of enzymes in one capsule:

18digestive enzymes to help your body break down protein, fat, carbs, fiber, dairy and bean sugars.*

Take one with your first bite, then eat as normal.

  • No elimination diet.
  • No food journal.
  • No long gut protocol.
  • No scanning the menu for that one "safe" thing.

One small capsule, with no taste, that helps your body close its enzyme gap.*

Questions

When do I take it?

With the first bite of each meal, because that is when the food shows up for the enzymes to work on. If you forget, take it partway through. It will still have food to work on.

How many do I take?

One capsule with each meal.

How long does a bottle last?

Each bottle holds 90 capsules. With three meals a day, that is about 30 days.

Is it a probiotic?

No. Probiotics are live bacteria. Dissolve is digestive enzymes, the scissors that cut food into pieces your body can use. They do different jobs, and you can take both.

I already take a lactase product. Why would I switch?

Lactase handles one thing: milk sugar. Dissolve has lactase too, plus enzymes for protein, fat, starch, fiber and the sugars in beans. If dairy is not the only thing, one enzyme will not cover it.*

Where do the enzymes come from?

Some come from plants: papain from papaya and bromelain from pineapple. The rest are grown by fermentation, in fermenters three stories tall.

What's in it, and what's left out?

280 mg of the DigeSEB® Super Blend in each capsule. The only other ingredients are a vegetarian capsule (cellulose) and maltodextrin. No stearates. Free of all 9 major food allergens: wheat, egg, milk, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish and sesame. The full list is on the Science page.

Are there side effects?

They are rare. Some people notice mild cramping, bloating or gas in the first few days, and then it settles.

Can I take it if I am pregnant, nursing or on medication?

Check with your doctor first.

Does it help with IBS, SIBO or celiac disease?

Dissolve is a dietary supplement. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it is not a replacement for a gluten-free diet. If you have a diagnosed condition, talk to your doctor before trying it.

Can I pause, skip or cancel a subscription?

Yes, anytime.

Where is it made?

Manufactured and laboratory tested in the USA.
